Highlights:
The lake is surrounded by Limestone Mountains and cliffs covered in tropical rainforest that rise-up from the shore of the lake and disappear into the far distance. Few people know of the lake and even less have visited it. There are over one hundred islands on the lake, and it is over 60 km from north to south. In the 70’s the area was a hideout for communists and students opposing the military dictatorship.
Activities:
Jungle trekking, site seeing & lake cruising. Also includes lunch, relaxing, swimming, and kayaking at a raft house.
What to Bring:
Swimming suit, towel, sun protection, hat and sunglasses, waterproof bag, insect repellent, one set of dry clothes.
*** We advise you to wear sandals with straps, shorts and a T- shirt. Training shoes are also okay. Big walking boots are not advisable. The trails are easy going and you will get wet. ***
